Spirituality uncut!

Spirituality

What? What are you talking about? Is that not what we do at church, be all spiritual?

Familiar question?

So many of us do “spirituality”, but do we really know what it means? Or, are we merely doing what we think we were taught at church as children?

Spirituality is the true you. Not only the practicing of religion. Spirituality is that “you” that no one truly knows or has ever met. It is the nucleus of the you that holds your deepest secrets, dearest values and desires. The uncut, bare version of you. That part of you that has a need to be more than just aimless flesh floating about the universe, waiting to expire. That part deep inside that can’t help but “know” and needs to know that there is a greater being, a greater destination than this plane.

To need spirituality is not only good, but also completely natural. To have faith in an entity so great that it could create everything around us is not so far fetched and certainly not illogical. Just look at yourself; you are so complex and yet so simple.

If you have faith, if you do actively practice your spirituality – rejoice! Be glad! You are on a good track.

Our father God is truly wonderful – just think you woke up this morning – that in itself is a miracle!!

… one little request though …

The next time you praise Him in song, do so whole heatedly!
