What I’ve learn part 2

Your body has a voice of its own.  Many times your body will let you know its tired and need some rest.  Sometimes you can still push it a bit whether and other times you need to listen and make a priority to get enough rest.  Your body has its own limits and though training or exercise we learned where it lies.No man can go through life alone.  This also applies in sport.  It is more encouraging to do it with someone rather than alone.  When you’re in a race in a race it is much more able to complete it, especially when it is a long distance or intense race.  To support someone is easy.  Continue repeating the same words over and over.  These words are in two or three sentences; go Deon go; you can do it; keep your focus.  Although sportsmen don’t always recognize these supporters, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t encourage.  It’s exactly those words that encourage!

Any general practitioner would ask you whether you do some sort of exercise for our health.  Exercise should be high on our daily lives.  I’ve learned that exercise made me feel healthier, stronger and gave courage to face life’s challenges and also how to handle it.  It gave me a clear and healthy mind to make better decisions for myself.  Being optimistic was more possible because, because I looked at situations in life in a more positive way.

Although all these things were in place to reach my goal I never forget my God.  My goal was set but if it wasn’t for my faith in God I would not have made it.  I can’t do anything without His strength, grace, mercy and love.  Phil 4:13 ‘I can do all things through him who strengthens me’.  I applied this verse in my training and today I have my 94.7 cycle challenge medal.
