the second thing

The second:  The second simple thing we need to do on a daily basis is, SAY NO!! Yes, say no. During the past week a lady asked me a very troublesome question. She asked me how will she ever be able to be kind, but not be a push over or how will she ever be able to be assertive without being labelled a bully or aggressive? And it was almost like unison how everyone in the group really wanted to know the answer, as if they themselves have been searching for the answer to this question for way too long.

The answer is a lot easier than you think, because we are the ones that give ourselves these labels. The reason for this is that we ourselves do not know how to be assertive we do not know what are the differences between these words. You need to become comfortable with these terms yourself and know why it is important for you to implement them in your life. The first step to saying no is, knowing why you say no, but in order to do this you need to know who you are and what your boundaries are. If you are able to know why you are saying now you will begin to understand the importance of saying no. The second step to saying no is, you have to become comfortable with NO! Don’t be afraid of it
