Perceptions
It is a new week that with it brings new challenges. One challenge that my week has brought to my attention, which I would like to talk about, is perceptions. In many of my previous posts I have gone on and on about how your perceptions form your view of the world you live in, and if you want to live in a “different” world you have to perceive things differently. However, I have found that the flip side of this may also cause problems in the workplace and in relationships….what if people have a negative perception of you?
Yes, we can control our own emotions and thoughts but how do we control those of others? When someone things you are incompetent, or not good enough, or because of your depression can not optimally perform your tasks at work, what then?
I found this quote by Virginia Satir and although I 100% agree with her, as I am sure you do too. How do we achieve it how do we not allow others to make us feel inferior?
This is going to be my quest for the week finding out how this is possible. Please share your experiences and opinions I would love to hear from you.
