Thank you Vista
Practicing three sports is a hassle for me sometimes. One of them is carrying around the different clothes for each sport. When I plan to train all three sports in one day, I have to carry around two shopping bags. One of them is for sport equipment and the other for clothes.
Vista helped me in this matter by sponsoring me with a sports bag! There is a place for everything. Each set of clothes has its own compartment and it’s easy to handle! My bag is always ready and packed for each sport.
Vista also helped with a good pair of running shoes. When I’m serious about something, I want to do it right. The pair I chose offers comfort and durability and I really enjoy wearing them.
My first duathlon is less than two weeks away and I wasn’t sure if I would be ready, but on Monday I set out to do the distances back to back and I finished each section well. My body experiences a very weird feeling when I transit from one sport to the other. After the first run, my leg muscles are warmed up so to cycle is easy. Running again is more difficult because I’m tired and have to walk a lot, but it is possible for me to finish the race.
In the week to come I will focus on one of the two sports combined with swimming. Later on though, I will train running and cycling back to back.
Transitioning between sports is something that needs to be worked into my training programme. I have no I idea how to do it, but the lady from the spinning classes offered to show me how.
When you are serious about what you are doing, there is always something new to learn that can offer better skills.
