When things go from bad to worse!
I have to admit that I have had the worst weekend, just when I thought things were looking up it got worse…..do you know the feeling?
This time of year many individuals start to feel the pressure and burn out starts to set in…There are non-stop deadlines that have to be met, constant pressure to perform, and absolutely no motivation for the last few months of the year. It is in this time that we have to start actively doing things to help us fight burn out. I choose this topic today, firstly because after my horrible weekend I realised that I am on the edge of burn out and to be honest it is scaring the living daylights out of me, this blah unmotivated feeling.
Secondly after reading Lisa M. Gerry’s article “10 signs you are burning out” (read more here) I realised that I am not the only one feeling the pressure. After the blog post last week it become very clear that people are struggling with the pressures of the world and figuring out where everything fits in place. I myself was just like Lisa I was ready to show the world what I was made of, show off al that I know just to realise that many believe I don’t know much. It is truly disheartening to through your heart and soul into something that slowly but surely drains you of all your energy.
