The whistle that gave me hope!

So as I was sitting at my desk today, really trying hard not to throw my laptop at the nearest wall, I decided to follow my own advice and find an outlet for my frustration, and seeing as braking company property is seriously frowned upon I decided to take a walk.

I am in the fortunate position to be working for a company with beautiful gardens, so I took advantage of this. As I was walking I heard this wolf whistle and at first ignored it then turned around, it was 3 of my work colleagues just soaking up the sun and making the most of their well deserved lunch peace. I decided to join them (for no other reason than to find out what they were laughing about).

rocking chair

For a few minutes we just sat there making jokes, and then I probably got the best advice ever…..stressing is like sitting in a rocking chair, it keeps you busy, but it is not going to get you anywhere. It was there and then that I decided to stop rocking and start moving, however I have found that this takes some practice and is not a quick fix…………so if you will excuse me I have to go explain why I need a new laptop!!!

Please share any of your “stress busting” ideas, I will take what I can get.
