I was absolutely dreading coming to work this week and if you have ever had to work over a December, when everyone else is on leave, you may know this dreaded feeling I am talking about. However, being the optimist I try so very hard to be, I decided to make the best of the situation and what I found was… some time. Some time to do the things I never get time for. I sorted out the office, did some planning for next year and generally just stopped rushing.
Many say that Christmas time is the time for giving and the time for family (which it is, do not get me wrong) but this time is also a time for you to recharge your batteries and get to all the things you never have time for. Make time to plan your fun family outings for next year, make time to plan date nights, because when the hustle and bustle starts again we get so caught up in the going that we forget some of the important things in life.
With this I am ending the blog for 2014. May you and your family have a blessed festive season and a happy new year!
2015 Awaits… Make it a good one.
